CareerPorts

CareerPorts are online high school curricula in which students learn and apply core content within a possible career pathway. Each CareerPort is a nine-week, hands-on immersion into a nationally recognized career cluster area. These self-paced, student-directed curricula are delivered online, making them accessible to students from any Internet-connected computer. A CareerPort offers students a virtual internship, during which they learn and apply core content knowledge within the context of that CareerPort’s career area. Through a series of assignments, students experience the same things as their real-life career counterparts, including the hands-on tasks, research, and even the time lines required to be successful in that career area.
