The path to an engineering career doesn’t start at college enrollment. For many, the inspiration to become an engineer comes early, so the education to take that inspiration and turn it into a viable career should also start early.
Pitsco Education offers pre-engineering curriculum solutions to help students embrace such inspiration, beginning in kindergarten with our Elements to Engineering program. As students progress into middle school, educators can turn to curriculum offerings in mathematics, pre-engineering, and biomedical sciences. We also offer a series of flexible whole-class engineering units that can be used as supplemental instruction as three-, six- or nine-week units. A combination of any of these activities can be implemented as a yearlong course to provide a hands-on pre-engineering course designed to prepare students for advanced engineering programs at the high school level.
After students enter high school, we offer additional whole-class instruction for Grades 9 through 12 suitable for advanced engineering programs and supplemental instruction. For educators looking for a more structured track of instruction, Pitsco Education offers its three-year Engineering Academy solution. This is a teacher-led program for students who wish to explore their potential for a rewarding career in the field of engineering.
